We've come up with a new name, and acronym, for this project! We needed one for grant applications so this is what we came up with:
Seventeenth and Pennsylvania Urban Renewal - S.P.U.R.
Not bad at all.

What we're doing
This blog chronicles the improvement of the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue and intersecting 17th Street in San Francisco. In so doing, we hope to reduce speeding, trash dumping, homeless encampments, car break-ins, arson and other crime, and improve property values by beautifying the area.

Yes, we discussed that but we're just using this as the title of the project - not as a business name or anything. :)
